Stronger Communities Grant 2021

Applications Close 15 February 2021

Expressions of interest for Round 6 of the Stronger Communities Grants are now open to organisations within Macarthur.

The Macarthur Stronger Communities Programme offers grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for small capital projects that improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy of our community.

The grant amount for small capital projects is up to 100% of eligible project costs except for local governing bodies where grant funding will be up to 50% of eligible projects costs.

Your grant request must be between $2500 and $20,000.

Please check your eligibility here.

Up to 20 local projects may be successful, in their application for these grants. The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science is responsible for administering the programme through the Business Grants Hub on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

Up to $150,000 in total will be allocated to projects within Macarthur on the advice of a community consultation committee, who will review all applications. Successful applications are then submitted to the Government for review and final sign off.

Please note that potential applicants must be an incorporated entity, and have an ABN. For further information on your organisation’s eligibility, please see Stronger Communities Programme – Round 6 | business.gov.au
