Recently, the Federal Member for Macarthur, Dr Mike Freelander MP, had the privilege of visiting local business, Wool Products Australia, which is situated in Ingleburn and produces Australian-made woollen products.
This year, Wool Products marked 25 years of manufacturing in Ingleburn and has seen the business grow and expand into the national and international markets.
“This is a brilliant achievement by a local company that employs local individuals, which also ensures that manufacturing continues to exist in Macarthur.” Dr Freelander said.
“I am proud to recognise the wonderful work of Wool Products Australia and acknowledge the fine quality of the products. This is equally matched by the fine quality of their staff too.”
Currently, Wool Products export under the brand name, ‘Woolstar’, abroad to South Korea, Japan and most recently, China.
This is an exceptional achievement by a local business in a competitive international market.
