MACARTHUR MP TO HOST PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS EVENT

Dr Mike Freelander MP, the Federal Member for Macarthur and local paediatrician, is hosting a prostate cancer awareness event for local men to and hear from experts, individuals with lived experience and an opportunity to speak with others about this horrible disease.

The event, which is free to attend and will have morning tea catered for, is being held in cooperation between Dr Freelander, Prostate Cancer Australia and Bayer Australia.  

It will be held in the Campbelltown Catholic Club’s Quondong Room from 10am till 12pm, on Thursday the 26th of September 2024, as September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

There will be leading medical professionals, including nurses from Prostate Cancer Australia and a local urologist, amongst others attending to provide meaningful & important information to Macarthur men, with representatives from Macarthur Bulls FC also in attendance.

For Dr Freelander, he cares deeply about the health & wellbeing of residents and so is hosting this event to increase awareness of prostate cancer and how to prevent and treat it.
