I was incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of the Honourable John Fahey AC, over the weekend.

John was a humble man of enormous achievement.

He was revered as a true public servant for the people of Macarthur, the Southern Highlands, Wollondilly and beyond.

John will be remembered for his achievements and his lifetime of public service; extending beyond his time as a local Member, a Premier, and a federal Minister.

My thoughts are with John’s wife, Colleen, his family and loved ones during this difficult period.

John’s contributions and service have left a lasting legacy on our community, and our nation.
